# Tokenomics

### Overview

<mark style="color:orange;">**rxBTC**</mark> is the value representation of Nakamoto consensus in layer 2 of Bitcoin. It is also used as the **gas fee** for the network nodes of the BitRexe network, providing more stable, cost-effective blockchain interaction experiences while ensuring safety.

<mark style="color:orange;">**BRX**</mark> will be paid as **coinbase rewards** to bitcoin merged miners. The value appearance of <mark style="color:orange;">**BRX**</mark> is when BitRexe can fill the gap between Bitcoin and the D-app ecosystem.&#x20;
